Mental health matters, Sister. Therapy can help process trauma and develop better patterns - if you find the right therapist. Seek someone who understands your cultural context and won’t pathologize your valid responses to oppression. Not all therapy is equal. Combine it with other healing - movement, nutrition, community, spirituality. The mind doesn’t exist separate from body and spirit. Address all of it. There’s no shame in seeking help. Healing takes wisdom, not just time.
